Sunshiki Wins Excellence Award at the 25th Ikeda Senshu Bank New Business Grant

Sunshiki has received the Excellence Award in the Environment & Energy category at the 25th New Business Grant, hosted by Ikeda Senshu Bank.

Research has shown that adding just 0.2% Asparagopsis to cattle feed can suppress methane generation from burps by up to 98%. In the Kansai region — home to premium Japanese beef brands such as Kobe Beef and Omi Beef — the introduction of Asparagopsis is expected to create new brand value centered on low environmental impact.

Additionally, cultivating Asparagopsis locally in the Kansai region could contribute to regional job creation.
