Sunshiki Selected for the ASIA-PACIFIC AGRI-FOOD INNOVATION SUMMIT Exhibition Support Program

Sunshiki Co., Ltd. has been selected as one of twelve companies for the ASIA-PACIFIC AGRI-FOOD INNOVATION SUMMIT Exhibition Support Program, operated by CIC Japan LLC (CIC Catalyst APAC). The program is carried out as part of a project commissioned by Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) to support the overseas expansion of Japanese food-tech businesses.

Through the program, selected companies will exhibit at the ASIA-PACIFIC AGRI-FOOD INNOVATION SUMMIT, held in Singapore from October 27 to 29, 2026, and receive hands-on support in the lead-up to the event — including matchmaking with overseas corporates, research institutions and investors, and refinement of business strategy for international markets. A side event featuring pitches and networking by Japanese food-tech startups is also scheduled for October 28.

Sunshiki is developing proprietary cultivation and processing technologies for seaweed, including Asparagopsis. Reducing methane emissions from cattle is a challenge shared across borders, and we believe that addressing it requires collaboration with companies and research institutions outside Japan.

Following this selection, Sunshiki will work to deepen collaboration with companies, research institutions and investors across the Asia-Pacific region, and to advance the international deployment of its technologies.
